A Resting Time
Time to sit down and think.
It really feels like not much is happening at all at the moment.
But, I know in my heart that underneath the surface, many things are changing and progressing.
Not much is being noted on the topside.
I feel spiritually that things are slowly humming along.
Nothing extreme, just there, barely noticeable, but there.
I have been focusing on my health and well-being of late.
Eating well, staying hydrated, exercising, which includes walking either around the house or up the street most days and I also go into my relax room, to do just that.
Laying down upon my yoga mat or blanket, I allow my energies to move and flow around and within me, correcting, aligning, releasing any fuzziness and allowing clarity to come to the fore.
I am also incorporating neck roll stretches into my routine to help my neck and another neck exercise to help strengthen my neck muscles and also doing some lower back and leg stretches to help these areas as well.
Adding in some Om work for an overall balance of body, mind and spirit.
Strengthening my spiritual connection and growth within.
A great little session that leaves me feeling relaxed, peaceful and very calm afterwards.
I, once again feel like it is the calm before the storm, waiting for the changes taking place to be evident.
By the way, I am not waiting for a storm or major upsets… it is like being in the eye of the storm… that calm place, where you have been placed for whatever reason, out of the way, so to speak, seeing all that goes on around you, and you are waiting to step out and be apart of all that is going on, once more in control and confident of what you are about and where you are going.
I am sure in a short while, it will all come to pass.
I have been here before, waiting and watching for the changes I know are coming.
In the meantime, I am creating meals that are light and refreshing during this hot weather phase and incorporating vegetables or fruit into my daily breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
Making sure I have a fruit composition with yoghurt and a nibble mix for crunch or mixing it up with Bircher Muesli and adding fruits and mix.
Trying out different ideas and finding it all quite tasty and refreshing.
Salads for those hot days and on other days steaming or roasting vegetables with whatever protein is at hand for meals.
I am feeling so much better within myself.
Being mindful of food, exercise, hydration, relaxation time and making sure of incorporating some stretches and energy work in my day.
All of this will show great results in the long term.
I will have good results as I allow the energy work to filter through my body and energy bodies, adjusting, aligning and energizing as I continue on with my day.
More energy will equal more spiritual work, meditations, meditative group sessions, as well as guidance and healing work, as I become stronger within.
I, wait patiently for the changes to become known.
Once on the surface, I will know all is in order and I can proceed once more.
Every now and again, we must sit back, rest and allow all the background processes to catch up or complete, then allowing us to proceed with confidence.
Our path will seem to open before our eyes and we will be ready to continue on our journey.
We will have times where we do not clearly see the immediate path ahead of us, nor where it is going.
Rest assured, it is there and waiting for the right moment to reveal itself.
When we are ready, the blinkers come off and we see very clearly our journey ahead.
So, do not despair, sometimes we need to rest and enjoy what we are doing right now.
Let go of what we think we should be doing and allow your body to repair, re-energize, relax, recharge and recoup.
When the timing is right, all will continue and you will make headway.
Remember, being still and recharging is doing wonders for your body and your energy.
Your mind, may be telling you the opposite.
We just have to remember that being still for awhile is very beneficial for all the inner processes taking place, bringing you up to speed and when ready, you will feel that spark, your eyes will open wide, knowledge will pour forth and with confidence and knowing you will stride forth on your path with eagerness and purpose.
Be kind to self.
Allow rest when it comes upon you.
Enjoy the journey.
Embrace the uniqueness of you.
