Remember to sit and relax each day.

Five minutes is a good and positive start.

Relaxation with meditation helps in releasing negativity, stress and anxiety.

Sit comfortably, hands folded in your lap, close your eyes, relax and listen to some calming and tranquil music.

Om to start your session.

Incorporate your breathing techniques into the session.

Chanting Om  is in itself  breath work as well.

Om is pronounced Aum.

Take in a deep long breath – hold for a count of three and on release of long breath sound out Aum.

Now take a normal breath in and a normal breath out.

Continue with another long deep breathe in – hold for a count of three and once again on the outward breath sound out Om.

Repeat this process for as long as you like.

All the while continuing to sit in a comfortable position and listening to your chosen background music.

Becoming more and more relaxed as you continue with your breath work and tune into self.

Tuning in to self and releasing your tension, worries, fears and filling your body with positive vibrations and intentions.

Out goes the tension on the out breath and all positive vibrations and energies are drawn into the body on the in breath.

Relax and create your own zen like environment.

Continue your breath work and meditation for as long as is needed.

When your  feel you have done enough and your awareness returns to now, simply Om seven times to complete and close your session.

Allow your body and energies to settle for a few minutes before opening your eyes, stretching and standing.

 

Try breath work and Om meditation today.

Start with a minimum of five minutes and lead up to 20 minutes each session.

*A glass of water after your session helps to hydrate the body and aids in cleansing and removing toxins.

*Journal your thoughts, feelings, visions and sensations which have resulted from your meditation today.
